Last updated: September 23, 2026

Who we are

Gotty is a service for discovering, saving, and tracking video games across platforms. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at espeso86@gmail.com.

Information we collect

We collect the information needed to provide, secure, and improve the service.

  • Account information: email address, nickname, profile photo, authentication-provider identifiers, and email-verification state.
  • Library and preferences: saved games, custom lists, progress, playtime, console visibility, and notification preferences.
  • Feedback and support: messages you send us and an email address if you ask us to reply.
  • Technical and security information: IP address, browser or device type, app version, diagnostic information, and security or server logs where applicable.
  • Analytics and advertising information: events, device or browser identifiers, and advertising signals processed by the services described below when they are enabled and permitted.

How we use information

We use information to create and maintain your account, operate your library, authenticate requests, send service messages, respond to feedback, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, measure product usage, and display or measure advertising.

Legal bases

Depending on the context, we process information because it is necessary to provide the service you requested, because you gave consent, because we have a legitimate interest in securing and improving Gotty, or because a legal obligation applies. You can withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent.

Analytics and advertising

On the website, product analytics through Amplitude is activated only after the applicable consent signal from Google's certified consent-management platform. If you do not consent, web product analytics is not enabled.

The website may show Google AdSense ads and the mobile apps may show Google AdMob ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google's consent message asks for the choices required for advertising and related measurement. You can change those choices through Privacy settings.

We also use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to monitor aggregate website usage and performance.

Service providers and sharing

We share information with service providers that host the API, database, email delivery, authentication, analytics, advertising, error monitoring, and website infrastructure. They process information on our instructions or under their own applicable privacy policies. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer.

Storage and retention

We keep account and library information while your account is active or for as long as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize the associated active account data, subject to information that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. Backups and technical logs may take additional time to expire.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to processing of your information. You may also withdraw consent for optional analytics or advertising through Privacy settings. Contact espeso86@gmail.com to exercise a right or raise a concern; you may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

Gotty is not directed to children who are below the minimum age allowed to use online services in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in breach of applicable law.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. We will publish the new version on this page and update the date above. Questions about this policy can be sent to espeso86@gmail.com.
